WHAT IS PROJECT L.E.A.D?

Project L.E.A.D. is a youth leadership program that encourages and prepares students – ages 12-18 – to continue their education and gain confidence to realize their true leadership qualities. Parents and caregivers are invited to participate in all sessions.

Project L.E.A.D. combines age-appropriate physical training with life skills, financial literacy, communication, and relationship-building. We emphasize education, personal responsibility, and community engagement.

Scholarships for higher education (trade schools, apprenticeships, community colleges, universities) are available to students that demonstrate the desire and commitment to continue their education beyond the standard high school curriculum.

All participants can expect to complete program sessions with a wider network of support, including professionals in their chosen career path, referrals for needed services and resources, and/or mentoring relationships.
